Everyone in Mibs's family has a special power: their "Savvy". Her brothers create hurricanes and electricity, her grandpa moves mountains, and her aunt can get people to do what she says. At first Mibs hopes for a powerful savvy like the rest of her family, but when her poppa gets in a terrible accident, all she wants is something to save him. She goes on a trip to save her poppa, along with her brothers and the preacher's kids. One thing is for sure: none of the people who left on the trip will ever be the same.
